The CARD Gala is your way to help our South Florida autism community. This is the signature annual fundraising event for CARD (Center for Autism & Related Disabilities), a collaborative program of the University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University. This special evening benefits the programs, services and research initiatives at CARD while highlighting the innovative and impactful services and program we offer. The CARD Gala celebrates the impactful work we do with a festive celebration designed to raise autism awareness while entertaining our guests with fine food, drinks, music, dancing, and acknowledging the tireless efforts of important community partners. The CARD Gala will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the beautiful InterContinental Miami Hotel.
The overwhelming success of The CARD Gala over the years has allowed us to maintain its services during times of tremendous constituency growth. For this, we are extremely grateful to our supportive community and generous donors. Funds raised help support our valuable programs and services, all of which are provided at no direct cost to families. Some of these programs include support groups for all family members, employment boot camps, surf and summer camps, social skills activity groups for teens, community outreach events and so much more!
After 24 incredible years, Tropical Nights will be known as The CARD Gala ~ a new name for the same unforgettable evening that helps make a difference.
